Chris Madrid, AMFT

Throughout my life, I've been captivated by the intricacies of shared and individual experiences, as well as the driving forces behind human behavior. My personal therapeutic journey underscored the significance of connecting with a professional who provides empathetic, attuned, and non-judgmental support. Viewing the mental health field as a calling, I am dedicated to cultivating an environment of trust, safety, and acceptance.

My educational background aligns with this commitment, holding a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Ethnic Studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a master's degree in Marital and Family Therapy (MFT) from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Professionally, I've garnered valuable experience as a therapist and clinical case manager, assisting individuals and families navigating diverse challenges such as domestic violence, anger management, anxiety disorders, depression, sexual offenses perpetration, trauma, and psychosis.

I approach treatment through a solution-focused lens, placing emphasis on guiding individuals to uncover their unique strengths within the safety of a secure therapeutic relationship. I firmly believe that this foundational trust is essential for self-discovery and meaningful disclosure to flourish. I am enthusiastic and committed to walking alongside you as you embark on the journey of creating positive change in your life.
