Teletherapy

Telehealth therapy is now being offered during COVID-19 shelter place. With the uncertainty of when we will be able to get back to "normal," adjusting to new ways of doing therapy is a must. Dr. Isetta and her team in the South Bay offer telehealth therapy through a secure HIPPA compliant platform.

Some questions people ask.

How does it work?

Your therapist will send you a link to a secure portal to conduct your telehealth session. The session is the same as an in-person session to help address anxiety, depression, conflict and stress.

Does my insurance cover it?

Insurance companies are covering telehealth as if it was an in-person session. However, it is always good to call your insurance company to confirm the benefits.

Can I turn off the video if it makes me more comfortable?

Yes, there is an option to have sound on the video call.

Can children and teens do video sessions as well?

Many children and teens respond well to telehealth. There are ways to share screens and make therapy a more interactive experience.

How do I pay for therapy?

Just as in-person therapy, Dr. Isetta and her staff have an online platform that takes care of all paperwork, billing, and payments. All you have to do is login to the portal and fill out the paperwork.
